Description
This fine art ceramic plate features a distinctive blue flowing glaze and is designed for elegant wall display. Crafted from high-quality stoneware clay, each piece undergoes a meticulous creation process that begins with a week-long drying period.
The initial firing takes place in an electric ceramic kiln at 1100°C, requiring approximately 10 hours to reach optimal temperature followed by a gradual 10-hour cooling period before the piece can be safely removed. The plate is then adorned with a unique glaze formulation developed by the artist and subjected to a final high-temperature firing at 1260°C, which permanently fuses the glaze to create its beautiful flowing finish.
